Fraudulent activities using FIATA email address
From 23 to 29 July, FIATA suffered a multi-point cyber-attack aimed at defrauding its members and applicants for FIATA membership.
Your contact details might have been accessed and you may have received an email from a FIATA email address (@fiata.com) asking for payment to a personal/company bank account that is not FIATA account in Zurich.
If so, please do not respond nor make any payment as this is not an account associated with FIATA and the request does not come from FIATA. If unfortunately you have made a transaction to one of these fraudulent bank accounts or if you have communicated in any other way regarding your application, please contact Ms Vanessa Villa of the FIATA administration immediately at email@example.com.
Note: FIATA Membership Subscription for BIFA Members in the UK is paid directly by BIFA and BIFA Members will never be officially contacted by FIATA for payments.
