Updated Border Operating Model and Guidance on RoO
The UK Government has updated the Border Operating Model to reflect the new UK-EU Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TCA).
Changes to the body of the text relate to rules of origin requirements, mutual recognition of AEO status and further details on which border locations are operating which customs model and available facilities. Case studies have also been added to show end-to-end scenarios that will happen between GB and EU, importing and exporting goods from January 2021.
Both documents can be found here.
Additionally, a detailed guidance on the rules of origin requirements under the post-Brexit deal can be found here.
