Updates on the latest progress for Clean Air Zones (CAZs)
Greater Manchester and Bradford
Greater Manchester and Bradford will be added to the Government’s vehicle checker next week, on Monday 15th November.
Please keep an eye on their ‘Drive in a clean air zone’ page to find out if you will be charged. Portsmouth’s Class B CAZ is launching on Monday 29th November. This means that anyone driving a non-compliant bus, coach, taxi, private hire vehicle or HGVs will need to pay a daily charge.
Noncompliant vehicles are ones that:
- Do not meet Euro 6 standards for diesel vehicles
- Do not meet Euro 4 emissions standards for petrol vehicles
