First Young Forwarder Event Of 2022 Welcomes New Committee
BIFA's Young Forwarder Network kicked off 2022 in style!
We are delighted to welcome some new members to our Committee who will be a great support to the Network during this year's virtual and in person events. It was great to hear from our Chair of the virtual committee Laura Hobby on the experience she has gained from being a member of the network.
After looking back at the events of the last year, yesterday was a great opportunity to share what was in store over the next couple of months, including our plans to re-introduce the Regional in-person sessions to BIFA's events calendar.
As we know, Logistics is a broad industry and we are always thinking of the different areas and skillsets that exist across the industry that we can share with our Network.
We asked attendees to vote on the topics they would like to learn more about in Q2 and beyond. The feedback we receive ensures that future events remain of interest to the group. If anyone has any further ideas or suggestions we would encourage members to get in touch with us here.
With BIFA's Communications team taking over these events going forward, it was the turn of current host and founder of the YFN Carl Hobbis to be our Guest Speaker.
With over 35 years in the industry, BIFA's Executive Director Carl took the opportunity to share the 10 things he has learned from Bosses during his career; a mixture of positive and constructive learnings for the network to carry forward in their own roles.
