There are problems with various government systems including GVMS and NCTS, GOV.UK is being updated and messages are being issued to the trade and carriers. This will allow the movement of goods to continue.

BIFA has been requested to advise its Members that hauliers can travel without a GMR until the problem has been resolved and the system becomes fully operational again

NCTS submissions are queuing, so traders are not receiving responses to submissions. Internal colleagues are able to access NCTS as normal so IBFs will be able to clear and goods that do arrive at the facilities.

HMRC are making every effort to ensure that all services are restored asap.
