Imports from Russia and Belarus - Additional Duty Payments

The United Kingdom has introduced a requirement for additional duty payment for goods imported from Russia and Belarus. The additional duty amount is set to 35% on a number of goods originating from Russia and Belarus.

Additional duties are also planned to be introduced on imports of fish from Russia and Belarus. These measures are subject to further work on the specific implications for the sector and therefore will be introduced in due course.

Exemption from Additional Duties

Goods originated in Russia and Belarus that have completed Russian or Belarusian export formalities and left those territories before 25th of March 2022 are exempt from the additional duty payment. This exemption relates to the goods on which additional duties were applied on 25 March 2022.
